WHJT STAR 93.5 FM RADIO

WHJT-FM is Mississippi College's student-operated commercial radio station. Communication students gain invaluable experience working at Star 93.5 while contributing to one of the top-rated stations in the metro Jackson market.

Most college radio stations are non-commercial and dependent on institutional funding or fund-raising for their support. WHJT-FM is one of a very few college-owned commercial radio stations fully staffed by students and dependent on a team of sales professionals for its operation - just like other commercial stations across the nation. For 30 years, working at WHJT-FM has provided students with a unique foundation for future success in broadcasting.
